Adenoidectomy

Adenoidectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the adenoids, which are small masses of lymphoid tissue located at the back of the nasal passage. The adenoids can become enlarged or chronically infected, leading to issues like nasal obstruction, snoring, or recurrent ear infections. This procedure is commonly performed in children who experience frequent upper respiratory infections or breathing difficulties.
